Mr. F. S. Liverman

Me F.S. Liverman, a member of the Bar since 1974, is a third generation lawyer whose grandfather started practicing in 1921. All were graduates of law at the Université de Montréal. Me Liverman practiced law in downtown Montreal for thirty years until he moved his practice to the West Island about twelve years ago to accommodate a number of lawyers in the area who were relying on him for their litigation. He joined the office with Me Carl Gelber in 2005. Me Liverman has carried on a litigation practice covering commercial and corporate law, personal injury and malpractice liability, property, estates, non-unionized labour law, criminal (limited to DUI, drugs and sexual and physical assaults) and family law. As senior trial attorney for the firm, he provides a wealth of knowledge to the firm’s trial lawyers whom he supervises and mentors. He of course continues to litigate major trials.

Ms. Audrey-Anne Laforme

Me Laforme completed her law degree (L.LB.) at the University of Sherbrooke in 2015 and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2016.
Me Laforme joined the Cabinet Gelber Liverman in 2017. She specializes in Criminal and Penal law, as well as in Family law.
Me Laforme is regularly called upon to plead before multiple Courts in Quebec, such as Superior Court and Court of Appeal.
She is known for her pleadings, for the careful preparation of her numerous files, as well as for her ability to adapt to the most unexpected changes in order to
defend the interests of her clients to the best of her abilities.

Mr. Simon Gadbois

Mr. Simon Gadbois was sworn in at the Quebec Bar in 2019. He completed his studies in civil law (L.LB.) at Laval University in Quebec City in 2018. During his studies, he represented the students of his cohort at the President of the Law Students Association from 2017 to 2018.

Me Gadbois joined the litigation team at Cabinet Gelber Liverman in 2019 after completing his internship at the Bar. His main areas of practice include civil litigation, civil liability, insurance law and medical liability.

Céline LeBlanc

Ms. Celine LeBlanc completed her studies in paralegal technology in 2015 at CDI College.

Ms. LeBlanc joined the litigation team at Cabinet Gelber Liverman in 2015. Her main areas of practice include civil and family litigation.

Pina Di Dio

Pina Di Dio is a graduate of Civil and Common Law (LL.L./LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa. She is fluent in English, French & Italian. She works in our Corporate & Estates Department. Her responsibilities include settling estates, drafting of wills and mandates, incorporation of federal and provincial companies, articles of amendment, continuation, dissolution and drafting of documents required to keep corporations current with their filings, preparing annual resolutions and filing of provincial and federal annual returns and conducting and reporting on security searches and analyzing search results at the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights (RDPRM) with respect to movable properties and rights and at the Quebec Real Rights Registry (Registre Foncier) for immoveable properties. She also conducts case law and doctrinal searches for litigation files.
Before joining Cabinet Gelber Liverman in 2018, Pina worked for large national and international law firms in Montreal. She also worked at the Human Rights Commission. She has acquired extensive legal experience in litigation, corporate, commercial & financing. She has also experience in real estate law, construction law (legal hypothecs), banking law, intellectual property (trade-marks registrations), human rights protection, bankruptcy & insolvency. She also assisted lawyers with the preparation of closing documents in various corporate transactions involving, among other things, mergers, acquisitions and tax reorganizations.
